S2 Games Announces Match Reward System, Game HoN Event, and New Hero

Ongoing Match Reward System and Game HoN Event launch with New Hero Patch, Free Heroes

(Kalamazoo, MI) - July 6th, 2012 - Starting today, gamers everywhere will get more out of doing what they do everyday-play games! S2 Games is proud to announce an new Match Reward System for its award-winning MOBA, Heroes of Newerth (HoN), and is kicking it all off with a week-long event, Game HoN. Starting with Friday’s Prophet Hero patch, HoN players will begin to earn more in-game silver for playing more HoN, including ongoing Consecutive Play and Social Play bonuses. Also beginning today, Game HoN event participants will unlock special prizes by playing more games.

During Game HoN, from July 6 through July 13, players will have access to all HoN heroes completely free. Additionally, players who compete in ten games will unlock the brand new Doll Master Alt Avatar. There are also rewards for another great part of gaming - playing with friends. In Game HoN, playing with friends for ten games will unlock the Team Player Store Bundle, filled with over $50 worth of items from the store.

Players can dive into the new Match Reward System with Game HoN, a week-long event that will offer special, in-game prizes based on the number of games played. Added Pu, “GameHoN is all about participation, and just the enjoyment of playing a game, which is why all of the prizes are based on number of games played.”

Friday’s patch also unveils a new hero, Prophet. Prophet is a ranged intelligence hero who calls forth his familiars to devastate or empower whomever he desires.
