The CLAN WARS Savage league
is now live. This league
hosts month long tournaments and there is no set number of players
required for matches. Games can range from 1vs1 (though unlikely)
and up. The current limit of players per clan is 20.
Match times are set by the players themselves, the race is that
of the clan's pick, and there is no "best of three". CLAN
WARS has hosted many RTS (and a couple of FPS) in the past,
and as a result, Savage will run more like an RTS based league -
you choose your race and play a game. The winner of that one game
wins the match. If S2 adds a clan match option, they will most likely
be able to make the league automatic. For now, however, it is report
based. For those of you who are familiar with CLAN WARS and it's
ladders, here is a list of changes that have gone into the creation
of the Savage league:
- Roster limit scalable, currently set to 20 (subject to change
based on feedback from community)
- Clan members can instant page each other
- Bosses can send instant invites to non-members (upon accepting
they automatically are added to the roster)
- New optimized searching and querying of gamelogs to display
all new sorts including "Most points ever obtained by a clan
for a win" and many others
- Violations list (list of games with an IP violation...false
games) now tracks individuals responsible for causing violations
- Clan avatars, banners, warrior avatars
- Tweaked point system

Hop in your Commander seat or throw on your gear for some up close
and personal combat. TeamWarfare is excited to announce the new
10 vs 10 ladder for SAVAGE!
TeamWarfare will be opening the 10 man Ladder on October 1st. The Lead Ladder Admin will be Ark. Feel free to contact him with any questions you may have that are not already answered on the Savage ladder rules page. Teams must have a minimum of 8 players to begin competing! Also, matches will be played in a best two out of three map scenario. Also, coming soon we will be doing a 7 man ladder in addition to the 10 man.
