In addition to predefined Chat macros, Commanders have four manual chat options:
Global Chat: Chats to everyone in the game. This includes both teams.
Team Chat: Only your current team will receive the chat message.
Chat Selected: Only Selected Units will receive the chat message.
/msg player: by typing /msg followed by a player name you can send a message to a single player.

Orders are issued by simply selecting a unit or units with the left mouse button and right clicking on a target. With a single right click the default order will be issued. Hold right click for a context menu of alternative choices.
Commander Orders:
Travel to this location. (Move to this way point.)
Attack this target. (Targets include NPCs, enemy structures, and units.)
Clear this area. (Move to and remove any NPCs and/or enemy units from this location.)
Guard this area. (Move to and protect this location.)
Follow here. (Follow selected unit.)
Repair this structure (primarily the commander's AI workers carry out this order but Action Players at times may need to aid).

Example:
Commander (RTS)
1. Locate your player.
2. Click and drag with the left mouse button to select the unit or units.
3. Right click the target. (This will issue the appropriate default command.)
Action Player (FPS)
4. Wait for a command.
5. On receipt of the order, an interface will reveal your command along with both an auditory signal and a visual waypoint.
6 Move to and carry out the order. You will receive 1 loyalty point for each order successfully carried out.
